Description
Server room air conditioners are made to run around the clock and to start again by themselves after a power cut. A normal home split unit is not, which is why it so often fails first.
What you get
- Units designed for continuous running
- A second unit, so one can fail or be serviced
- Auto-restart and alternating schedules
- Temperature and humidity sensors with alerts
- Sizing from the heat your equipment gives off
Worth knowing
Size the cooling from the equipment, not from the room: watts of equipment become watts of heat. Pakistani summers add a lot, so we allow for 45 degrees outside. Two smaller units that share the load are safer than one big one.
Cooling is one part of server room setup.
