EV Charger Installation in Rawalpindi
A 7 kW wall box in your garage, on a circuit that is safe for the load. We install home EV chargers in Islamabad and Rawalpindi, check your wiring and earthing first, and pair them with solar if you have it.

EV charger installation is mostly electrical work around a small box on the wall. The box is the easy part.
The wall box is the easy part
Plugging a charger into the nearest socket is how people end up with a melted plug. An electric car pulls a heavy current for hours, much more than a kettle does for minutes. The job is mostly electrical work around the box: the cable run, the breaker, the protection and the earth. A good wall box on a poor circuit is not a good installation.
What we check first
We start at your main distribution board. Is there spare capacity? Is the earthing actually good, which we measure instead of assuming? How far is the garage from the board, since a long run needs a thicker cable? And what is the sanctioned load on your electricity connection? A 7 kW charger is a big addition to a typical home, and it is worth knowing whether your connection can take it before you buy anything.
We also look at the car. The connector has to match, and most EVs sold here use a Type 2 socket, but we check yours. And the car has its own onboard charger which sets the speed limit: a 7 kW box on a car that accepts 3.3 kW will only deliver 3.3 kW.
What 7 kW means in daily life
Roughly 35 to 45 kilometres of driving for every hour plugged in, depending on the car. In practice that means an overnight charge refills most of what you used during the day. It is not a fast charger for road trips and it is not meant to be. It is the thing that makes the daily routine simple.
Pairing with solar
If you already have solar panels, charging the car in the middle of the day uses power you would otherwise export or waste. A charger that can read how much solar surplus there is will adjust itself, charging faster on a sunny afternoon and slower when clouds come. If you are planning solar at the same time, we can size the system with the car in mind.
For homes with a battery or an inverter, we also look at which circuits stay powered during an outage. Charging a car from a battery bank empties it very quickly, so we usually keep the charger off the backup circuit.
- A survey of your board, earthing and cable route,
- a dedicated circuit with the correct breaker and residual current protection,
- wall box mounted where the cable reaches the car without being stretched,
- testing and a short demonstration, with a certificate of the earth test,
- optional solar-aware charging and a phone app.
We also help offices and shops that want a couple of charging bays for staff and customers. Power for these comes from the same planning as backup power and solar, and a smart home controller from our smart home service can schedule charging for cheaper hours. Companies that run a fleet may also want GPS tracking and dashcams for the same vehicles.
