Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) in Rawalpindi

Systems do not fail on a convenient day. A maintenance contract means we visit on a schedule, clean, test and fix small things early, and come quickly when something breaks, for a fixed yearly cost.

An annual maintenance contract is a plain deal: we visit on a schedule and keep small faults from becoming big ones. This is what we check, and what it means in practice.

Why bother with maintenance

CCTV, fire alarms and networks share one problem: when they work, nobody thinks about them. Then a recorder disk fails quietly in March, and in June you find out that nothing has been recorded for three months. Or the fire panel battery is dead the day of a drill. Maintenance is the dull routine that makes sure you hear about these things in a visit and not in an emergency.

What a visit covers

CCTV. We clean lenses and housings, check that every camera is recording and viewable, test the recorder's disks and clock, check remote access and verify that old footage can be found when you need it. A camera pointing at a wall because someone bumped it last month is a classic discovery.

Fire alarm. We test a sample of detectors and call points, check the panel and its battery, make sure sounders work and note anything blocked or covered. A fire system should be tested regularly, and the checks are written down, which matters for insurers and building managers.

Network and servers. We update firmware where it is safe, back up the configuration of switches and routers, check logs for repeating faults, test the backups and the UPS, and look at the cabinet for heat, dust and cables that have gone wrong. We leave a short report you can read in five minutes.

What is in the contract

Contracts are simple. You pick how many visits a year, usually quarterly or twice a year, and the systems they cover. You choose between labour only, where parts are charged at cost when needed, or labour plus parts for a higher yearly fee. Priority support means your call goes to the front of the queue, and we tell you up front how quickly we aim to respond for your location.

  • Scheduled visits with a written report each time,
  • priority response for faults, by phone or on site,
  • discounts on parts and repairs, or parts included in the higher plan,
  • a clear list of what is covered and what is not,
  • a clear note when equipment is reaching the end of its useful life.

What it will not do

A contract does not make old equipment last forever. When a recorder is eight years old and failing, we tell you, give a price for a replacement, and leave the decision with you. We also do not take on systems we have never seen. We inspect first and write down the condition, so both sides know where we are starting from.

We look after CCTV, fire alarm, access control and network systems, including gas suppression rooms, whoever installed them. If your server room power matters, add UPS checks to the plan.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Do you maintain systems installed by someone else?

Yes, after a first inspection to see their condition. We write down what we find, so there is a clear starting point and no surprises about what is covered.

How many visits do we need?

Most offices choose quarterly or twice a year. Busy sites or those with fire suppression and server rooms often prefer quarterly. We suggest a schedule after seeing your setup.

What is the difference between labour only and with parts?

Labour only covers our time and visits, and you pay for any part that fails. With parts included the yearly fee is higher and most failed components are replaced at no extra charge. We explain which suits your equipment.

How fast will you respond to a fault?

It depends on your location and the plan, and we write the target in the contract. We would rather give you a realistic time than promise something we cannot keep.
