Description
Wi-Fi access points are the small white units on the ceiling that decide whether your wireless works in the back office. Wi-Fi 6 is a safe choice for most offices today, and Wi-Fi 7 suits busy rooms and networks built to last.
What you get
- Ceiling and wall access points in Wi-Fi 6 or Wi-Fi 7
- Power over Ethernet, so one cable per unit
- Controller or cloud management for several units
- Separate guest and staff networks
- Coverage survey and test report
Worth knowing
More access points are not automatically better. Placed badly they interfere with each other, which is why we walk the building first and put them where the walls and lifts require. Remember that phones and laptops also have to support Wi-Fi 7 before you see any benefit.
They are part of enterprise Wi-Fi and structured cabling, and they are powered by PoE switches.
