- 24/7 Support
- Remote maintenance
Description
Dual-WAN routers take two internet connections and use whichever one works. When the main line fails, traffic moves to the second within seconds, and moves back when the first line is healthy again.
What you get
- Two WAN ports, or 4G / 5G models with a SIM slot
- Automatic failover and optional load sharing
- Rules, for example cameras on the main line only
- VPN support for branch offices
- A small UPS for the router and modem
Worth knowing
A backup link only helps if it fails at a different time from the main one, so two lines from the same provider on the same route are a weak pair. We check which providers reach your building and test by pulling out the main line while you watch. Satellite links are not part of this range until a provider is licensed here.
The service behind it is backup internet and dual-WAN failover.
