Description
An online UPS feeds your equipment from its inverter all the time, so the output stays clean even when the mains supply spikes, dips or disappears. It is the type to choose for servers and anything that must not reboot.

Worth knowing
Work out the load in watts first, then decide how many minutes you want. Ten to fifteen minutes is usually enough for a clean shutdown or for a generator to start. Keep air conditioners and heaters off the UPS, and plan to replace lead-acid batteries every few years.
