Description
An AI NVR is the recorder that does the thinking: it watches the camera streams as they arrive and picks out people and vehicles, so an alert means something. It also stores the video, so it has to be sized for both jobs.
What you get
- Recorders from 4 cameras up to large sites
- Person and vehicle detection, line crossing and intrusion alerts
- Hard disks sized for the days of footage you want to keep
- Viewing on phone and PC
- A UPS in front, so a power cut does not damage recordings
Worth knowing
Analytics asks a lot of a recorder, and every rule you switch on takes a share of its capacity. We check how many cameras can run analytics at once on the model we propose, so the recorder does not fall behind in the evening when it matters.
See AI video analytics and ANPR for how we set the rules, and CCTV installation for the cameras that feed it.
